What you'll need:
We use Zoom for our training courses. If you haven’t used Zoom before, you can download the application here: Download Zoom
If it’s been a little while since you last used Zoom, we recommend logging in a few minutes early. This will give you time for any automatic updates that may run before the session starts.
To take part fully, please use a device with both a camera and microphone. You can check the minimum system requirements here: View system requirements
Please also make sure your display name is clear and recognisable, so the trainer can easily identify you. If you’re unsure how to do this, you can find guidance here: How to rename yourself on Zoom
Important
Our online training sessions are live and interactive, so please ensure you are in a suitable and safe environment where you can fully participate.
For safety reasons, joining while driving is not permitted. If this happens, you will be removed from the session and the full course fee will still be charged to your council.
Please note: the course is open to all county associations and will therefore have clerks and councillors not from Northamptonshire in attendance. We hope that this will allow for this course to be delivered more often and throughout the year.
When booking onto this course, the details that you provide will be used to book you onto a third party website where you will receive booking confirmation. Your details will only be used for the purposes of sending joining instructions.
